32th National AKSP Seigokan Portugal Championship

Post  Admin on Wed Jun 09, 2010 6:58 pm

Held last Saturday, June 5 of 2010, the XXXII National Championship of AKSP Seigokan Portugal, with the participation of around 120 athletes of all Dojos of AKSP, from Lisbon to Algarve.
The Championship has resulted in more successful adding to other sports events conducted by the Seigokan Karatedo Association of Portugal (AKSP) this Sports Events Calendar of 2009-2010, as the Kangeiko, the Graduates Seminar, the Seminar in Algarve and the International Seigokan Seminar in April 25, with a delegation from Italy Seigokan, led by Shihan Francesco Cuzzocrea, composed by 25 members.
This year, and for the first time, were used in the championships helmets (Mizuno), duly approved, coming directly from Japan Seigokan Honbu Dojo and normally used in Interstate and Federal Championships in that country.
It should be noted that there was no injury, with uninterrupted use of three (3) competition tatami simultaneously.
Once again, Campo de Flores College of Lazarim, with the most participation of athletes and Dojo representation, was National Champion in teams and individuals.
The Championship had the guidance and technical supervision of the Director of Proof, José Santana Shihan (6th Dan), National and European Technical Director of Seigokan.
We do not want to leave here to thanks all the sponsors, including Seigokan Overseas Headquarters, as well as the Parish Council of Charneca de Caparica, which has supported the Championships for years.

From AKSP Seigokan Portugal Directory,
Eduardo Lopes
Secretary General
